ScrapCo Skip Hire – A Family Legacy

We are a family run company that has invested extensively into the development of our one stop waste management business and take pride in every aspect of our work.

Scrapco Metal Recycling was started by Ricky Hunn in 2006 dealing with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, end of life vehicles, with just a handful of drivers and workers.

On 2^nd January 2018 we opened our doors to Scrapco Skip Hire and our brand-new waste transfer station, where non-hazardous waste is segregated mechanically and manually in our new 740sqm building, complete with picking station, that enables us to deal with the waste effectively and promptly and recycle up 99% of our waste.

Not just experts in Skip Hire

In 2022, Scrapco metal recycling was taken over by Ricky’s son, Danny Hunn. He was 22 when the company was formed and was employed as a lorry driver for Scrapco, throughout the years he has seen the changes in the business and understood the needs of our customers better than anyone.

In September 2023 SC Tyres was born, our mobile tyre-fitting services right on your door step, SC Tyres understands that tyres play a crucial role in your day-to-day life.
